More knives are now made with micarta handles:

Many more knives of Kizlyar are now produced with handles made from Micarta. Micarta is often used in premium and art knives and at the moment it is one of the most popular material for knife and handgun handles in the world.
Micarta is very durable and stable, its not easy to damage it, it has excellent resistance to high and low temperatures, as well as chemicals, its density is higher than that of wood, it feels warmer than metal and does not conduct electricity.
