The major hunting organization in Australia, Sporting Shooters Association of Australia(SSAA), arranged an unprecedented in size and success show in Sydney on 26-27 February this year.

The Shot Expo attracted 6096 visitors in just two days of the show and was a great success for Kizlyar. Excluding New Zealand companies, who are not considered as foreigners by neighboring Australians, we were the only international company that participated at the exhibition. Success at the largest hunting fair in Sydney

On 15-16 May our company participated at the Australian largest hunting fair Burton's Sydney Antique & Modern Arms Fair. Our knives attracted a lot of visitors. The most popular ones were Sterkh-1, Strij, Scorpion, Phoenix, U-5, U-8 and NSK Sterkh. Australians were surprised to see our wide range of knives of such a high quality with original engravings of different scenes. Many noted that the knives are very detailed and "personalised", although their cost is not high in comparison to USA manufacturers. The success at the fair clearly indicates that Kizlyar has a bright future on the Australian markets and the company is currently looking for partners.

The spring "Blade" exhibition revealed new trends

"Kizlyar" presented new knifes at the spring "Blade" exhibition. The new models were highly appreciated by the visitors. They are produced to be completely different from the previous models. In the near future you will be able to find this new models in the local shops in your city.

Australian recognition

Australian representative office "Kizlyar Knives" reports that the classical models of knives were highly welcomed by the Australian knife buyers and professionals. The chief editor of the "KNIVES Australia" magazine Keith Spencer wrote an article titled "From Russia with love" in which he highlighted the original design of the Kizlyar knives. Overwhelming supply of American knives on the Australian market is one of the reasons why Australians are so eager to get to know the new exotic products from Russia.

Winning the first prize

Our knife "Gold Maska" was named number one and "...absolutely unique knife..." in the collector knives category at the IWA-2004 exhibiiton in Nurnberg, Germany.

The jury's verdict was very clear here: "This absolutely unique knife impresses with its attention to detail. It is a great traditional work of art that diverts the attention of the knife industry away from the classic traditional knives of Western Europe and the USA to the exceptional achievements of the manufacturers from Eastern Europe, Russia and the Middle East". The knife that took the manufacturer 1.5 years to make was described by the jury as a "pedigree collector's knife".

Article about us

Knife "Strela (Arrow)"

During the exhibition "Klinok (Blade)", that was held this fall, visitors expressed the special interest to the new knife model - "Strela (Arrow)". This model was certified as finishing knife, but may also be considered as throwing knife. After obligatory manufacturer's tests this model was modified a lot. Modifications include changing the center of gravity, diameters of the holes, sizes of the sharp edges and also improving elasticity. This knife is covered with black chrome, handle is decorated with rope.

Moscow exhibition

The weapon exhibition took place in the All-Russian Exhibition Centre in Moscow. Our production made a very good impression again. According to the results of the general competition the Kizlyar Ltd knives were declared the best in the tourist knives nomination and took the second place among the clasp-knives under the conditions of the severe competition. This helped to find new partners in Russia as well as in the other countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States.

New knives

At present time we are getting ready to the weapon exhibition in Dubai. The exhibition in Brno in Czechia ended. The Kizlyar Ltd steel interested the undertakers as well as the ordinary customers (the sportsmen). There were made some contracts.
